Server Woes

Organizations in Microsoft do not appear to communicate with each other. I say this because we run IIS with two sites. Both sites have their own IP. When the most recent patch for the OS (Server 2000) came out, kaboom! In Microsoft Technet, come to find out that Patch 2.0 didn't function nicely with IIS. Of course this occurred on a Friday after the evil patching person left for a camping weekend, resulting in 6 hours of digging to determine how and what parts to back out of the patch to get IIS working again.

Hmm, the OS people didn't talk with the IIS people. Sounds like most corporate entities. COMMUNICATE!!!
